Zoe Ball sells £2m home for house near ex as BBC Radio 2 absence mystery deepens
Zoe Ball has been mysteriously absent from her BBC Radio 2 show since August, and has now made a huge move.
Ahead of her return to BBC Radio 2, it’s been revealed that Zoe Ball has sold her £2 million countryside home.
This deepens the mystery surrounding her absence as the broadcaster has been missing from her morning show since August 8.
The DJ, who was named BBC‘s highest-paid female star with £950,000 a year, has been on extended leave, with Gaby Roslin and Scott Mills filling in.
BBC bosses have been supportive of Zoe, through her “tough” time and revealed her Radio 2 return date had been scheduled for Monday 23 September.
Fans grew concerned about the 58-year-old, and curiosities increased after she was spotted being comforted by her ex-husband, the renowned DJ Norman Cook known as Fatboy Slim.

As well as her upcoming return, Zoe has encountered a huge life change after selling her idyllic countryside home based in the Sussex village of Newick.
According to the MailOnline, she purchased the property in August 2020 for £2,025,000 and has moved to a townhouse between Brighton and Hove.
Zoe is now closer to her ex-husband, the father of her two children, from whom she separated in 2016 before their divorce in 2020.
A source told the outlet: “Zoe obviously got fed up with life in the country and wanted to move to somewhere a bit more lively.”
