After much criticism for losing to the Chiefs, the Atlanta Falcons are also facing criticism for their controversial new logo, which will upset many people.

The Atlanta Falcons are getting crushed online after showing their new logo off via social media.

The team posted a new profile pic to X, formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday. While it depicts a falcon, as one would expect, the signage is being called out for similarities to imagery Adolf Hitler-era Germany used in the 1930s and 1940s.

Check it below:

Fans immediately compared the image to old Germany.

One of the more popular reactions read, “This would go crazy on 1940s German twitter.”

“German Twitter would give it a… *pauses for dramatic effect* … NEIN out of 10 😏,” someone followed up.

“Exactly my thought,” another added.

The new Falcons logo has also earned comparisons to the Albanian flag.

The Atlanta Falcons Removed Something From The Last Logo

The new logo is inspired by the fan-favorite throwback jerseys which have been worn in recent campaigns. They will also be worn three times this season, including this coming Sunday against the New Orleans Saints

The latest version of the Falcons logo is different from last year’s, which had a white outline around the falcon, making it look even more Nazi-centric.

The red unis will also be worn against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on October 3 and against the New York Giants on December 22.
