Antonio Brown and Maxx Crosby were teammates for a better part of seven months in 2019, but even in that short time, they became very close with each other. While Crosby was a newbie to the NFL game, Brown moved to the Oakland Raiders (Las Vegas Raiders) after making his name with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Crosby and Brown struck a chord because they went to college in the same state but in different schools. The All-Pro defensive end attended the Easter Michigan University while Brown starred for the Central Michigan Chippewas.

The 35-year-old would always be in the headlines for various reasons after his trade to the Raiders. Whether failing to find a suitable helmet or fighting over his style of play, Brown’s ever-changing personality made him a problem.

However, in an interview on Bussin’ With The Boys, Maxx Crosby revealed that Brown was a completely different person when he was off-camera and with his teammates. However, they could never guess what was going through the star-wide receiver’s head during his private time.

Regardless of the distractions, Brown and Crosby became so close that he even gave the edge rusher a free pass to use the dreaded ‘N’ word, which he recently confirmed on social media.

Maxx Crosby is in danger of missing the Week 4 fixture against the Cleveland Browns

The Raiders sit with a 1-2 record after three game days. Up next, they will face fellow strugglers the Cleveland Browns in week four.

The reason behind the Raiders’ poor showing this season is the queue of injuries. It grew on Friday after head coach Antonio Pierce announced that all-pro wide receiver Davante Adams would be out for the Browns game while Crosby and starting right tackle Thayer Munford Jr. remain doubtful.

Adams is a massive miss, but if Crosby doesn’t play, then there will be a shortage of leadership in the team. However, the rusher, who has never missed a game in his six-year tenure for the Vegas franchise, isn’t worried about Sunday.

He spoke with the media while pointing at the large wrapping on his leg, claiming that it was frustrating.

The Raiders are the underdogs at home going into the game. Since 2006, they have played each other 10 times, with the Raiders winning on 6 occasions. The last time these two sides met was back in December 2021, when the Raiders secured a 16-14 victory.
