Brock Purdy and Fred Warner’s highlight reel plays helped the San Francisco 49ers return to winning ways against the New England Patriots.

The San Francisco 49ers went back to their winning ways by dispatching the New England Patriots in dominating fashion. The game did not feature many highlights plays as Brock Purdy and his teammates systematically went about scoring points. But one particular play from defensive stalwart Fred Warner caught the eyes of many.

With the 49ers already on the board, the Patriots wanted to score some points. They snapped the ball from their own 35-yard line with an interest to gain five yards to get the 1st down. But the 49ers defensive line collapsed the pocket, forcing QB Jacoby Brissett to drop back and throw the ball to his receiver.

But when Fred Warner saw the ball’s trajectory, he leaped to grab it with both his hands. Purdy, sitting on the sidelines said,“He’s a freak.”

That was all he had to say after seeing an unbelievable display of athleticism and instinct. As without the combination of the two, that play wouldn’t have happened.

These kinds of plays are the usual body of work for defensive backs. But for a linebacker with their stockier bodies making such plays is not normal. Brock Purdy, knowing the difficulty of that interception, let out that reaction. What stunned him even more was that Fred Warner got up from the ground and ran towards the end zone.

The three-time All-Pro had to accelerate quickly to full speed as the New England Patriots players swarmed back to stop him. He even managed to maintain his composure as he used his hands to break the plane as he was forced out of bounds.

Brock Purdy wanted to gift teammates cars

The reason why Brock Purdy’s words were loud and clear was because he was Mic’d up for this game. That gave fans some more fun when he tried to motivate his San Francisco 49ers teammates by saying, “You guys want some Toyota Camrys? I got you.”

This might not be the best motivation for his star teammates. As most of them, cars that are higher up in the luxury scale.

This rather looked like he was trying to market for Toyota. As he signed a national endorsement deal with the automotive giant this year.

Considering his extremely low annual salary, brands have been lining up to sign him on as their partner.
