The 2024 presidential election is heating up just before November, but Amazon Prime does not want anything to do with it when fans are watching football games.

Not everybody has gotten on board with paying a subscription service to watch Thursday Night Football, but if they do, they should know they will be able to watch the game without the fear of being bombarded with nonstop political ads.

Amazon Prime has a policy of not showing political ads in election years, so fans can tune into Thursday Night Football knowing they won’t hear their favorite candidate or the candidate they do not like speak to them while they are simply trying to enjoy their night with a violent football game.

The description of prohibited content reads as follows: “Political, such as campaigns for or against a politician or a political party, or related to an election, or content related to political issues of public debate. During an election year, we prohibit media products about a specific political party, issue, or candidate.”
