Darnold has recorded 932 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, and three interceptions through four weeks.

Coming into the 2024 NFL season, nobody thought the Minnesota Vikings were going to be any good after the departure of Kirk Cousins.
In the offseason, the Minnesota Vikings agreed to terms on a one-year deal worth $10 million with quarterback Sam Darnold. The move did not make many waves.
After spending last season as a backup with the San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota added Darnold on a low-risk, high-reward contract this offseason.
Darnold has seen quite the renaissance in the 2024 season, as he has been a huge part of the Vikings’ 4-0 start to the 2024 NFL season.
Sam Darnold leads the NFL in touchdown passes with 11 and is completing 68.9% of his passes thus far.
With his performance through the first four weeks, Darnold became the first quarterback in the Super Bowl era to start a season 4-0 and throw multiple touchdown passes in each of those four contests.
As a result, he was named the NFC’s Offensive Player of the Month for September, which is also a first in his career.
