The mother of San Diego Padres outfielder Fernando Tatis Jr.’s two-year-old daughter feels she needs a raise.

According to TMZ, Jennifer Rodriguez is taking the San Diego Padres back to court as she is seeking an increase in child support.

In the court documents, Jennifer Rodriguez claims that ever since she became pregnant with his child in 2021, he has treated his fatherly duties as a “business arrangement.”

Jennifer Rodriguez already receives $20,000 a month in child support, which comes out to around $240,000 a year. That is apparently not enough, as Rodriquez is now seeking more.

“I have come to understand how little [our daughter] has compared to the benefits that Fernando receives for being a visible MLB star and local San Diego celebrity,” she said. “I have also come to understand how much it will cost to support a child to live at Fernando’s station in life.”
