The Dallas Cowboys are 3-5, and things do not look like they will turn around soon. With Dak Prescott injured and the offense already struggling, it may be time to start looking at next season.

While outlining the top available free agents and potential landing spots, Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox listed the Cowboys as “potential suitors” for Cincinnati Bengals corner Mike Hilton.

“Hilton can do a lot for a defense and would be a strong fit for a team searching for versatility. The Cowboys could be just such a team in 2025,” wrote Knox. “Adding Hilton and then adding another corner in the draft would be a wise move by Dallas.”

Hilton signed a four-year, $24 million deal with the Bengals in 2021. He is currently in his eighth season and has played in 115 career games. Hilton could be a solid piece for Dallas. Pairing him with Trevon Diggs in 2025 could be a huge boost for the Cowboys secondary.

“Since being signed away from the rival Steelers in 2021 free agency, cornerback Mike Hilton has become a defensive centerpiece for the Bengals,” wrote Knox. “The 30-year-old (31 in March) is on the smaller side (5’9″, 184 lbs) but should be viewed as the top slot corner on the 2025 market.”

The Cowboys just invested a large sum of money into Dak Prescott. Micah Parsons is in line to get paid soon. Hilton could be an addition the Cowboys could both afford and find effective.
