As of late, the internet found themselves picking sides between Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift. On the grounds of politics, the formed was publicly scrutinized for supposedly picking sides with Donald Trump. The criticism wasn’t limited to internet users, as The View host Sunny Hostin brutally bashed Mahomes for her ‘lack of political savvy’.
Starting with “the Swift effect,” Hostin praised the pop star for revealing the true character of U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump, noting that it would turn people away from him. She added that as a participant in an interracial marriage, Brittany Mahomes should have known better than to support a “racist.”
To back her argument, Hostin pointed out Mahomes’ biracial children, asserting that their family would not have been allowed in any of Trump’s buildings had it been the 1970s. She further criticized Brittany by calling her politically oblivious, using sarcasm to justify Mahomes’ political stance.
The political debate arose when Brittany Mahomes liked a post about Donald Trump on social media. As a consequence, husband Patrick Mahomes and Swift were also taken under the wraps. Being one of the closest friends of pop-singer Taylor Swift, who is anti-Trump, the latter’s fan base cyberbullied the Kansas City Chiefs’ QB’s partner. Allegedly, the difference of political stances even drew a wedge between Taylor and Brittany.
Swift, recognized for being a democrat, has supported Joe Biden in the past. Further, she endorsed Presidential candidate Kamala Harris in a post on Instagram. Post Swift’s endorsement, Donald Trump hit the singer with a hate tweet on his social media platform. Reportedly, Trump’s tweet led Brittany to question her advocacy.

In the aforementioned hate tweet, Donald Trump flatly stated his hatred for the pop singer. The tweet immediately gained widespread attention, especially from supposed pro-Trump Brittany Mahomes. Per sources via DailyMail, Brittany Mahomes is rethinking her decision to support the Presidential candidate.
The source echoed Brittany’s worry over the tweet, considering Swift was a sister-to-her. Per the source, the wife of Chief’s QB believed that Taylor was not at fault and had every right to free speech. Although she is yet to publicly comment on the matter.
