Clark and Martin have been close since their days with the Iowa Hawkeyes. With Martin now signed, some fans speculated that Clark might soon join Unrivaled.

“Let’s go Kate! Caitlin Clark is a lock now! Can’t wait to see my Hawkeyes back together!” a fan wrote.

“They said if we can’t bring Caitlin Clark, we might as well try and bring in her closest friend in the league maybe that will change her mind😂😂😂😂,” another fan wrote.

One of the fans wrote that the viewership of the Unrivaled went up substantially.

“Well, viewership just went up. Congratulations Kate!” a fan wrote.

“Kate Money Martin! Caitlin Clark is a lock now!,” the fan wrote.

“This will actually help the ratings. Not gonna lie,” the fan wrote.

Kate Martin’s signing with the Unrivaled puts her in a win-win situation

Kate Martin was one of the top names in the jersey sale this WNBA season. Despite being a rookie and playing very few minutes on the floor, Martin remained a fan favorite.

The Las Vegas Aces guard averaged only 11.5 minutes per game in her rookie season.

Martin’s signing with Unrivaled could be a valuable step in her career. The former Iowa player will gain exposure similar to the WNBA.

Additionally, the experience could benefit the Aces guard by allowing her to test her skills against top WNBA talent, potentially helping her earn more trust from Becky Hammon next season.
