Chloë Grace Moretz officially came out as a gay woman on Saturday while showing her support for Kamala Harris.
“I voted early and I voted for Kamala Harris,” Moretz wrote next to a photo of a red, white and blue sticker with the words “I voted early 2024” written across it. “There is so much on the line this election.”
Moretz has been rumored to be dating model Kate Harrison for several years.
In what appeared to be an eventful date night, the couple then took their party to Soho House before they left arm-in-arm and stopped to enjoy a lengthy makeout session.
Before connecting with Harrison, Moretz was in a romantic relationship with ex Brooklyn Beckham.
Moretz, who has two gay brothers, has long been an advocate for the LGBTQ community.
The pair were first romantically linked together in 2018, when they were spotted kissing outside of Nobu Malibu.
“We grew up in an area in Georgia where ‘praying the gay away’ is a very real thing. There were several people in our small town that apparently prayed the gay away and are now in fine relationships with their wives,” Moretz told PorterEdit in 2018.
The actress further opened up about her experience growing up with her brothers, telling Gay Times later that year that she “grew up fighting on their behalf” because it “broke my heart to see that yes, they can stand up for themselves, but people wouldn’t listen.”
“So I took it upon myself with their blessing to go out there and talk about it, and to tell people, ‘Hey, being gay is not a big deal at all. But be proud and be out there and raise the flag high. Be a part of the community, and be for the community,” she said.
