Chris Olave’s Brother Unleashes Angry 2

Chris Olave yelling

Chris Olave was slated to be one of the best receivers of his draft class after being taken with the 11th overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft. While he may be a standout receiver, he doesn’t get as much attention as he deserves outside New Orleans.

Olave’s first two seasons in the NFL saw the now third-year pass catcher come down with 159 receptions for just over 2,100 yards and nine touchdowns. However, this year, Olave has yet to have a 100-yard receiving game, which has some fans, including his own brother, worried.

The young pass catcher’s most recent performance on Monday Night Football saw him haul in just two receptions for 10 yards. Olave wasn’t looked at too often either, as he was only targeted four times throughout the match-up at Arrowhead Stadium.

Three of those four targets came during the game’s fourth quarter, and it confused everyone. One of the many people confused was Olave’s own brother, Josh, who decided to call out the Saints coaching staff mid-game, writing, “1 target?”

Chris Olave’s Brother Calls For The Saints Reciever To Receive More Targets On Monday Night Football

Olave has not had the season that many Nola fans wanted him to have, as he is only on pace for just over 850 yards and 4 scores as of right now. It’s possible that he gets better over the season, but one target through three quarters won’t help him achieve his potential this season.

This is the 24-year-old pass catcher’s second straight game without a touchdown catch, even though he enjoyed nearly identical yard totals in the two games leading into the Saints match-up against the undefeated Chiefs squad.

Hopefully, the Saints young star will look to bounce back after a struggling start to his 2024 campaign as New Orleans is set to take on Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football.
