Detroit Lions linebacker James Houston has cleared the air after going viral over his stained pants on Sunday night.
The Lions became the first team to come back and win after committing five interceptions and going down by at least 15 points since 1970, beating the Houston Texans 26-23 with a last-second field goal.
They had absolutely no business winning the ‘Sunday Night Football’ fixture, but their defense got the job done in the second half, leaving the opposition scoreless.
Houston, who did his part on that side of the ball, started trending on social media after appearing to poop his pants mid-game. Cameras showed him with a yellow-brown stain on his rear, leading many to suggest his bowels had betrayed him at the worst possible time.

“Ay yall I had sat on some Gatorade just chill 😹💩,” he wrote in a tweet.
However, not everyone’s buying it…
“I don’t remember them making a brown Gatorade, James…” someone pointed out.
“Ain’t no Gatorade color in the world got a brown and yellow tint to it twin,” said another.
“We don’t even care. You can do it every game. just keep putting those QBs down,” said a third.
“it’s ok poopy pants we still love you,” someone else wrote.
Poopy pants or not, the star LB had a stellar game for Detroit, recording a sack and helping force a fumble late in the game.
Unfortunately, he’s going to be remembered more for his stained trousers than his impact on the win.
