Steve Harvey to Katt Williams: 'I'd Knock Yo' Short A** Out'

*Steve Harvey appeared to threaten fellow comedian Katt Williams for insulting him on Club Shay Shay earlier this year.

In case you missed it, during Katt’s conversation with Shannon Sharpe on the popular YouTube podcast, he accused Harvey of stealing the concept of fellow comedian Mark Curry’s “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper” for his sitcom “The Steve Harvey Show” that ran in the 90s.

“The same Steve that went to go watch Mark Curry do his whole sitcom and then stole everything Mark Curry had…Now Steve got a sitcom where he’s the principal and he wears a suit,” Williams told Sharpe on Club Shay Shay in January.

“You couldn’t be a movie star,” Williams said of Harvey. “There are 30,000 new scripts in Hollywood every year. Not one of them asked for a country bumpkin Black dude that can’t talk good … and look like Mr. Potato Head. There ain’t none. You have to have range.”

Harvey spoke at Atlanta’s Invest Fest over the weekend, where he vented frustrations about his “haters,” and seemingly directed his remarks at Williams, Complex reports.

“You’ll never have a hater that’s doing better than you, always know that,” Harvey told the audience. “Don’t get off the wall to address some petty-ass boy who ain’t got shit going for himself, stop your climb on up the wall so you can come down here and talk to his little punk ass.”

He continued, “Don’t do that, man! I stay away from it. Do I want to [confront them]? Yes, because I’m a human being. And I’m hood. I used to be a fighter, and I still got hands. They slow, but if you get up on me real close, I can still knock yo’ monkey ass out,” Harvey said.

“I just don’t have the quickness I had, but I can still turn my hip and shift that weight, and I’d knock yo’ short a** out,” he added. “I’d shoot yo’ perm straight out yo’ head.”

So far, Katt has not responded to Steve’s remarks.
