For the first time in the program’s history, the University of California, Berkeley, will be the host campus for ESPN’s iconic “College GameDay.” One person excited about the news is former Cal running back Marshawn Lynch.

Many are questioning the decision to have the show at Cal despite the team being 3-1 and suffering a bad loss against struggling Florida State, so Lynch is trying to ensure students show up.

In fact, he hilariously advised students to go straight from their nights out having fun to the campus for the show and skip any sleep.

“YesLawd. Pull up early on ya boi at Memorial Glade… And when I say early this time, I mean hella early!!! Pit opens at 3:30am, yeah AM. Show is live at 6am, so we on team no sleep, straight from yo night out, right to campus ready to get it in,” Lynch wrote in a tweet.

The team will also need the support as it hosts the No. 8 team in the country, the Miami Hurricanes.
