Penn State Police Provide Update On Jason Kelce Incident After Former Eagles Star Smashed A Fan’s Phone In Response To Homophobic Slur

There was a feeling that Jason Kelce might find himself in hot water with the law after snatching and then smashing someone’s phone on Saturday.

Multiple videos surfaced on social media over the weekend showing the former Eagles center being taunted by a fan who was recording him while he made his way to Beaver Stadium for the Penn State-Ohio State matchup. 

The person in question, a Penn State fan, was heard asking Kelce, “Kelce — how does it feel that your brother is a [homophobic slur] for dating Taylor Swift?” the fan asked.

Kelce would grab the kid’s phone, smash it, pick it up, and ask him, “Who’s the [homophobic slur] now?”

Penn State University Investigating Incident Involving Jason Kelce

While no action has taken place or been announced, the school is currently in the process of investigating the incident that occurred on Saturday.

According to the school, “University Police and Public Safety is the investigating agency for this incident and that process is ongoing.”

Kelce has not addressed the incident yet, but it’s possible he’s already ironed things out with the fan.
