Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre is catching major backlash for what he posted and deleted on X.
On Election Day Tuesday, the NFL Hall of Fame quarterback predicted that all 538 electoral college votes would go toward Republicans if Americans let God guide their decision.
Favre posted a picture of an Electoral College map showing all 50 states in red for Republicans, with the caption, “If everyone put God first, this would be the results.”
The post prompted mixed responses from social media users on X, but it mostly received blasted responses, which is why he decided to delete it.
Some users praised Brett Favre’s bold declaration, while others were quick to bring up his scandal in which he has been accused of receiving $1.1 million in funds designated for Mississippi welfare recipients as payment for speaking engagements he never made.

Days before the election, Brett Favre went on record as saying that he had never seen a “more divisive” election in U.S. history.
“How many of you already voted and who’s waiting till Tuesday to vote?” he wondered “I tell you what, never seen a more divisive election in history. I hope people will be able to see the truth from this regardless of what happens.”
As expected, Brett Favre showed his face when he spoke at a Trump campaign rally in Wisconsin and ripped President Joe Biden after he appeared to call supporters of the three-time Republican nominee “garbage.”
He made it clear to Trump supporters that the “stakes are incredibly high.”
“People’s salaries haven’t kept up with inflation. It’s getting harder for younger people to buy their first home. People are losing hope in the American dream,” he said.
Brett Favre Reportedly Paid Back $1 Million In Speaking Fees Funded By Welfare Program
Brett Favre has been enthralled with the misuse of welfare funds for quite some time after it was revealed.
Favre was accused of accepting $1.1 million in federal funds from Temporary Assistance for Needy Families with approval from the Mississippi Department of Human Services.
Brett Favre also allegedly tried to use that money to renovate the volleyball arena at the University of Southern Mississippi, his alma mater and where his daughter began playing in 2017.
The retired NFL quarterback reportedly repaid just over $1 million in speaking fees funded by a welfare program in Mississippi.
