Channeling his inner eagle, Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley decided to spread his wings and his legs at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday against the Jaguars.
In a move that dazzled every fan base, Barkley’s reverse hurdle is something that won’t soon be forgotten.
In the second quarter of Philadelphia’s Week 9 win over Jacksonville, quarterback Jalen Hurts swung a pass out to Barkley on a third-and-six, and the running back proceeded to backward hurdle over a third defender after he eluded the first two.
It was surely a shock to even his Eagles’ teammates as we are now seeing an alternate angle, with his fellow players on the sidelines losing their minds over seeing the hurdle.

Saquon Barkley Has Backward Hurdled Before
With the Eagles facing a third-and-6 early in the second quarter, Saquon Barkley took a pass from Jalen Hurts, broke a tackle, put a spin move on Devin Lloyd, and then elevated as he blindly leapfrogged cornerback Jarrian Jones.
The fans in attendance rose to their feet and began looking at one another in a state of shock.
If you have been following Barkley, you would know that this is not the first time he has done this.
Back in 2016 against Iowa, Saquon Barkley, who was on Penn State, used a reverse hurdle to elude Iowa defensive back Brandon Snyder in a 41-14 blowout victory over the Hawkeyes.
Both hurdles were an indicator of how good of a player Barkley is.
