Philadelphia Eagles superstar defensive tackle Jalen Carter got a little too excited for his coaches’ liking during Sunday’s thrilling road win over the New Orleans Saints.

Jalen Carter and the Eagles narrowly escaped the Caesars Superdome with a 15-12 victory over Derek Carr’s Saints, thanks to a defensive masterpiece and a late game-winning touchdown by Saquon Barkley.

Carter’s Eagles clinched the game when Reed Blankenship picked off Derek Carr’s deep pass attempt with 48 seconds remaining, improving the NFC East squad to 2-1 following Monday night’s stunning loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

As the Eagles were running out the clock, Jalen Carter got into it with Saints fans sitting near his team’s sidelines. Carter got too excited to the point where head coach Nick Sirianni, defensive line coach Clint Hurtt and head of security “Big Dom” DiSandro had to step in and restrain their star defensive tackle:

Jalen Carter & Eagles Make A Statement vs. Saints

Philly’s road win was especially impressive considering that they didn’t have top wide receiver AJ Brown, and that No. 2 WR DeVonta Smith had to leave in the fourth quarter after suffering a concussion on a massive hit.

The victory ensures that the Eagles will, at the very least, be tied for tops in the NFC East with the Dallas Cowboys (vs. Baltimore Ravens) and Washington Commanders (at Cincinnati Bengals) heading into Week 4.
