The owner of the Dallas CowboysJerry Jones, certainly doesn’t get a lot of love from NFL fans who observe how he runs his team. However, some of his actions this season have garnered some extra attention.

On Wednesday, during the Cowboys practice, Jones was videoed flying onto the field in his helicopter.

Of course, if you know anything about Jerry, this wouldn’t even seem like a big deal.

However, this comes after Jones was criticized for not signing running back Derrick Henry, who had serious interest in joining the Cowboys. He then chalked it up to the team not being able to afford him.

“We couldn’t afford Derrick Henry,” Jones said, per Pro Football Talk“I don’t know. Why can’t you buy a mansion when you live in a different kind of house We couldn’t afford it. We can’t make that all fit. That’s as simple as that.”

Fans are now criticizing him for this display of immense wealth despite those comments.

“buddy could have gotten derrick henry if it wasn’t for all these unnecessary helicopter trips,” said one comment.

“Yet Jerry can’t “afford” good players,” said another.

“No wonder he’s cheap in free agency spends all his dough on fuel,” joked a third.

“Jerry Jones has that helicopter money but no Free Agent money,” added a fourth

It’s not a good look for Jerry, as the Cowboys start season 2-2.

The Cowboys Have A Winning Record Under Jerry Jones

Jones may get a lot of scrutiny, but Dallas has been a consistent winner since he bought the team in 1989.

The team’s overall record is 314-253. They have made the playoffs 18 times and won three Super Bowls. They also have a 16-15 record in the playoffs since then.
