The Colorado Buffaloes are currently a major topic of discussion nationwide, especially after an impressive performance by their quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, in their opening game against North Dakota State. Sanders threw for 445 yards and secured four touchdowns, displaying remarkable composure under pressure, according to ESPN.

His standout performance has sparked conversations about his potential fit with a Super Bowl-contending team.

During a recent segment on ESPN’s Get Up, NFL analyst and former executive for the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins, Mike Tannenbaum, elaborated on how the Dallas Cowboys could potentially draft Sanders. Tannenbaum suggested that if the Cowboys find themselves selecting between the 15th and 18th picks, they could package multiple first-round picks along with wide receiver CeeDee Lamb in a trade to move into the top three picks of the draft to secure Sanders.

He went as far as to speculate, “There’s a better chance, in my opinion, that Shedeur Sanders could be the quarterback [for the Cowboys] next year than Dak Prescott at this point.”

He concluded his remarks by suggesting that the Cowboys should consider replacing Dak Prescott with a younger, more affordable quarterback like Shedeur Sanders. His co-workers, however, did not support this opinion.

Meanwhile, discussions about where Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders will be drafted in the stacked 2025 quarterback class are heating up. Following a draft year where six quarterbacks were chosen early, it’s expected that teams will continue to prioritize the quarterback position, with Sanders viewed as a prime candidate.

Despite a deep class without a clear frontrunner, Sanders aims to distinguish himself in his final college season, potentially securing a top three pick with another standout season. Additionally, a former Ohio State All-American has shared a controversial conspiracy theory regarding Sanders, suggesting it may have some validity.
